Upscale Pizza

Oops, the pictures posted backwards. The one on the bottom is of Jack and Owen playing in the water fountain at the park. We went on a walk today and then took a golf cart ride to the park and had a picnic. We ate lunch in a gazebo, which was fun. Poor little Brady fell off the park bench not once, but two times. He is such a fast, little climber. He is okay! Both times he cried for a few seconds, then wanted me to put him down. He is such a tough, little guy! Eric has been home sick the past two days. I took the boys out to dinner tonight at a place called Upscale Pizza. I don't really get the name. There was nothing upscale about the place. We had plain old pepperoni pizza! It was a beautiful day, so we ate dinner outside. When we went in, the boys were given a pizza pan and stickers to make their own pizza. That's what Owen in doing in the picture. Off to bed, I'm one tired chick! :)

One Cool Dude

Spring Fling

One of the girls in my MOMS Club had a Spring Fling and invited us to attend! Their family was celebrating the remodeling (if that's what you call it) of their backyard. They have a beautiful backyard. There was a bouncy house, a sandbox and a bubble station. Oh, and the little boy, Kozik, had a TON of Thomas stuff. Owen was in heaven! The boys had a great time. The picture below is of Brady and his little friend, Shirley! She is adorable and the sweetest little girl. She is 9 days younger than Brady. They are so cute together. They follow each other around. Shirley likes to poke Brady, not in a mean way! I think Brady was handing her a weed that he had picked up off the ground!

Beautiful Day

Once again it was a beautiful, but very hot and humid day. We went shopping this morning, then came home and played outside!

We went to Ruby Tuesday for dinner tonight! The couple sitting next to us commented to us how well the boys were behaving. Eric and I just looked at each other, in shock! I have to admit, they actually were being pretty good. Owen was a bit on the wiggly side. He was sitting in a booster seat and not in an actual highchair. We always get a bit nervous taking them out to dinner!

We met the Nicolette's at a Spring Fling after dinner. It was being held at the elementary school Jack will attend. I took a picture of all the golf carts! :) There were a ton! This is just one little section of the golf cart parking!

All I Want To Do

Last year, while we were watching one of the country music award shows, Sugarland performed All I Want To Do. Owen stopped what he was doing and watched the tv as they sang. Since then, Owen has the biggest smile on his face when he hears this song. We've had the song on our computer for a long time, so yesterday I finally put it on a cd. I played it in the car on the way to the party. When it was over, Owen said "Again". So, we listened to the song several times on the way to the party. Needless to say, I'm getting tired of the song now! ;) Even Brady chimed in and was saying "Oooo". If you aren't familiar with the song, take a listen. It's catchy!

Thomas the Train Birthday Party

Tonight we went to a birthday party for a little boy who is in my MOMS Club. The theme was Thomas the Train! The boys had a great time! They were SUCH a mess by the time we left. They played in the sandbox, blew bubbles, drank juice boxes and had cake that had black frosting. They both had baths tonight!



This was the neatest thing. It was a round train track and Thoma actually went around the track. The kids took turns riding it.

Brady enjoyed the cake, as you can tell! He actually cried when I put him down. I guess he wanted more.

Beautiful Day

We went to the Nicolette's house today to go for a walk. When we got there Jack was outside and showed us where some woodpeckers had been pecking on their house. Sure enough, after only standing there for a minute or so two little woodpeckers came and started pecking on the chimney. You can't really see the hole they are pecking, but there is another hole towards the bottom of the picture!

On the walk today, we saw a little lizard on a wall. Of course, Owen called it Louie, (the lizard we see at the library).

After we got back to the Nicolette's house from our walk, we decided to take the golf cart to Taco Bell. It was a beautiful day to eat outside!

Stickers

Owen is totally into stickers right now. He has a little notebook that he uses to collect his stickers. I noticed on the way to the library that he was putting dino stickers on his head. The lady at the library asks the kids where they want their sticker each week and Owen always points to his forehead. So, that's where she puts it! :)


My parents gave Owen a Cabbage Patch Doll for his 1st Christmas. He likes to sleep with his "baby". The other morning he woke up and said "hungry" and ran to get the baby's bottle. He grabbed a blanket and climbed up into the rocking chair where he procedded to feed his baby! For all my friends having babies right now (which there are A LOT of you), I'm sure Owen wouldn't mind helping out! ;)

Poor Brady.... I will post some pictures of him tomorrow!

Beautiful

I took this picture yesterday while on our walk around the lake. For some reason I couldn't get it to upload with the other pictures. Anyway, I thought it was pretty and wanted you all to see it!

Happy Birthday, Eric!!!

This morning the boys and I met some girls from my mom's group at the park to take a walk. We walked a ways and finally I asked where we were going. They said we were walking around the lake. The lake is HUGE!!!! We ended up being gone for almost 90 minutes and walked 3 miles. I was exhausted from walking, but also for pushing the boys in the stroller! Needless to say it was a great workout!

The picture below is what my mom, dad and I got Eric for his birthday! It is a picture of the Senoia Coffee Company. It is a cute little coffee shop in downtown Senoia! He loved the picture and so do I!

Ducks

The boys got these ducks for Easter from Momo and Papa. The picture below is of Owen feeding the ducks. He tries putting the Memory game cards in their mouths. The ducks sing and flap their wings! The boys seem to really enjoy then!

Handy Owen/New Jammies

Owen got a tool belt for Christmas and enjoys "fixing" things around the house! Here he is "fixing" the fireplace. This weekend we bought the boys some new clothes for summer. I have been searching for Diego shirts everywhere. While we're in Davenport we're going to a Diego/Dora playdate. I always said I would NEVER buy shirts with characters on them or words, kind of dumb, I know! :) I broke down and bought jammies with Diego on them! Of course, Owen loves them. It was a 2 pack and I put one pair on him this morning and he wanted Brady to wear the other pair. I couldn't believe he let Brady wear them. And yes, they wear the same size! :) I just weighed the boys the other day and Owen weighed 25 lbs. and Brady weighed 24 lbs. Owen is also wearing his new sandals. I put them on to see if they fit and he didn't want me to take them off.

I think this picture is so funny. Brady looks like he is going to karate chop something or someone. I just caught him on the go!

Peachtree City Fun

Tonight we went to the Nicolette's house for dinner. After dinner we all got on the golf cart and went to the park! It was a nice little ride. The boys seemed to enjoy it! The golf cart paths in Peachtree City are so pretty.

Peachtree City is a golf cart community. You can get anywhere in Peachtree City on a golf cart. Parents take their kids to school on golf carts, there is golf cart parking at Wal-Mart and even high school aged kids take the golf cart to school. It seems like a pretty neat way to get around!

Haircuts

I knew the boys needed haircuts, because I had started calling both of them Shaggy McShaggy. Luckily, Eric is good with the clippers and scissors and cuts both of the boys hair. I should say DID cut both of their hair. After last night, Eric is done cutting Brady's hair. He is such a little wiggle worm. We'll be taking him somewhere to get it done, for awhile at least. Brady's hair is a little bit shorter than it normally is, but like I said he was wiggling and had a little too much snipped off in one part. :)

Yes, Owen's little booty still fits in the Bumbo seat!

Barbie Beach

We went to Newnan today to go shopping and drove past Barbie Beach. I noticed they changed the scene, so on the way home I took a picture. They aren't the greatest pictures. I didn't want to get out of the car! The home owner was outside and waved at me. I'm sure she is used to people taking pictures.

Owen's Pillow

Owen's baby bedding set came with two pillows. I put the two pillows in his crib when he was a baby and he really took to the pillow with the zebra on it. As you can see in the picture, the pillow on the right (our spare one) has a tail on it. The one of the left is the one that Owen sleeps with every night. He has played with the tail so much that it has gradually all fallen off. I noticed some stuffing outside of his crib the other day and couldn't figure out where it was coming from. Tonight I noticed a hole in his pillow right where the end of the tail was. We tried giving Owen the new pillow a few weeks ago and he said "New" and threw it on the floor. I left it there thinking he would pick it up. It was there for over a week and he never touched it. I guess he likes his old, worn pillow better. :)

On a side note: We played outside this afternoon and Owen found another caterpillar. He just looked at it for a few minutes, then picked it up and went and put it in the grass and said "Hungry". Funny little guy!

Caterpillar Fun

It was a beautiful day, so we played outside after the boys woke up from their nap. Owen noticed a caterpillar scooting along on the ground. He pointed it out to me, calling it a piddy pider as in the itsy bitsy spider. :) Both boys crawled over it as it scooted down the driveway. Owen did get brave and picked it up. Another caterpillar appeared and Owen said "Two". Poor little creatures. They picked the wrong driveway to scoot in.

Easter Dinner

We went to the Nicolette's for Easter dinner. I was in charge of making dessert, so I made a key lime pie. It was so yummy!

Easter Egg Hunt

The boys had a really great time finding the Easter eggs. Brady actually did really well, as you can tell from the pictures. Right now, Brady is really into making funny faces.


The Easter Bunny hid an egg in his beloved boots.

The boys received the ducks from Momo and Papa (a.k.a. Grandma and Grandpa Hentzel).
