Color Run

A few weeks ago, some friends and I participated in a Color Run!  It was a 5k at the Atlanta Motor Speedway.  One of the requirements for the race was that you had to wear a white shirt.  After each 1k, you ran/walked through a color station were they threw colored powder on you.  It was a lot of fun!  Hopefully there will be one next year!

Nestle is having a plant anniversary party in May.  Eric brought home some hats to try on  the boys.  Carson would only leave his hat on if Brady put it on his head. Little stinker!!

Cake = Fail

I was so excited to make this really yummy cake that my neighbor made once.  I'm always nervous to use a bundt pan because I'm afraid whatever I'm making will stick.  Sure enough part of the cake stuck to the pan.  It wasn't the prettiest looking cake, but it was surrrrre yummy!

More Barkley Stories

Here is a picture of Carson in his new pack and play.  Eric has been off since last Wednesday and goes back Tuesday.  It's been fine with both of us home because one of us can keep an eye on Carson, while the other goes outside with Barkley.  We decided the best thing to do was to get a pack and play for Carson to stay in while we are outside for the few minutes it takes with Barkley.   


                                                  
 One thing I know for sure...Barkley LOVES Eric.  Barkley follows him around constantly.  It's pretty cute.

I was outside with Barkley taking pictures of him.  I heard Carson and looked over at the door and saw his little hand sticking up!  He's too cute!

Horse Farm

Here are a few pictures from the horse farm today.  The boys enjoyed riding the horses.  They learned some interesting facts about horses...like they like peppermints?!  They thought that was funny, of course.

A little Barkley update: He is still just as sweet as he was yesterday.  The first night was a tad rough.  Hopefully it will be better tonight.  Carson is much better with Barkley as well.  He even touched him today.  A little step in the right direction, I'll take it! :)

Meet Barkley!!! 

Eric and the boys drove to North Carolina today to pick him up!  He is so cute!  Owen and Brady love him.  Carson, not so much.  If Barkley comes anywhere near Carson he whines or cries.  See the last picture! :)  So far, he hasn't chewed on anything or had any accidents in the house.  He's not a barker and he doesn't jump on us.  Hopefully it stays this way.
