Georgia's Little Creatures

Our neighbor (Chase) came to the door this morning and wanted to show the boys a turtle he found in the road. The turtle was in it's shell and remained in their until the boys and I went inside. Chase put it in our garage, on top of a small box of chalk...high up on a shelf. We came out a little while later to see that the poor turtle was out of it's shell. It couldn't move though because of being on the box. So, here is the turtle. I actually HAD to touch it because I didn't want it to fall off the shelf and Chase wasn't home. The turtle is now safe and sound back in the woods away from my scary, loud kids. ;)

About 20 minutes later, the same day as the whole turtle incident, I went to get the garbage can and saw a black widow right next to where the handle is. I'm so glad I didn't touch it when I was taking it out this morning! I came inside and Googled what those little white are. Of course, they were little eggs. Needless to say all three of those little things are taken care of!!! Ewww, gives me the chills!

Gone Fishin'

Eric, Owen and Chase (our neighbor) went fishing on Saturday morning. There is a nice little lake in our neighborhood. They went early in the morning, but didn't catch anything. Owen was so excited and had a great time.

Bruster's

The MOPS group I belong to went to Brusters for a tour. We watched them make waffle cones and chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream.

My Future Football Players...Or Maybe Not!

Our neighbor boy started football practice last week. He came over before practice and played football with the boys. They are fine with throwing the ball, but they are a little hesitant to catch!

Brady's Boots

Brady wears his rain boots the majority of the time while he's outside. Our little neighbor boy even asked me the other day why he always wears them. It's so hot and humid here. They probably aren't the best shoe choice. I pick my battles!!!! :)
Just a cute picture of Owen! After Eric mows the lawn he gives each of the boys a tractor ride around the yard. Owen decided to follow his daddy while he gave Brady a ride. Don't worry, Owen was FAR behind Eric.

Part Dragon, Part Super Hero

Super Heroes

This afternoon, we attended a super hero playdate. The kids were supposed to wear either super hero gear or a priness outfit. The boys didn't have either. They were the only ones. I don't think they even noticed. Brady really enjoyed making his super hero mask. He spent a lot of time on it. The boys have only taken their masks off twice since we've been home, once to eat and once to take a bath!

4th of July Parade

Today was a gorgeous morning for a parade. The Peachtree City parade is a really big deal and people start setting down tarps at least 24 hours in advance to mark their spot to view the parade. We met some friends from the MOMS Club. The weather was PERFECT, we had plenty of room and the boys had a blast.
The kids wore their shirts that they made at the playdate yesterday! They all looked so cute!

One of the local hospitals was handing out popsicles and all the kids got one.

This picture would have been so good if only my camera was the other way around. The man shaking Brady's hand is Mark Butler and he is running for Labor Commissioner...or something like that. Brady held out his hand for the man to shake! It was pretty cute!

Look at all the candy the boys got! Owen thought really hard about which ONE piece he was going to eat!

T-Shirts

The MOMS Club got together and made matching t-shirts for the 4th of July. They turned out super cute. The kids used firework "stamps" to decorate their shirts. The stamps were made using different types of pasta. The kids are wearing them to the parade in the morning! Can't wait to see all the shirts on!
