Look at Pedro, he's as big as Owen! That pinata was made out of steel. I thought it was never going to break open! The mommies are the ones who eventually broke it open! Yes, even I gave Pedro a few whacks! :) Thankfully, there are no pictures of that!
I took pictures of Jack and Juliana in the Macguires parking lot. I know, its sounds a bit strange, but it's actually a really pretty parking lot! :) Here are some of my favorite ones!
We have two ferns hanging on our front porch. It was raining, so I pulled both of them down so they could get water....because I never water them. :) I went out after the rain stopped to hang them back up and saw the bird's nest. Poor little birds, they got poured on!! Owen wanted to touch them and hold them. Obviously I didn't let him. He thought they were so cute!
My dad has a workshop in his basement. The boys enjoyed going down there to "help" him out. Here they are working on a "project". :)
Brady has been wanting to ride Owen's bike a lot lately, so we decided to buy a bike of his own. Eric brought it home, Brady got right on and started riding it. He would mostly just sit on Owen's. I can't believe how quickly he picked it up! He's 2!!! I guess he just wants to keep up with his big brother. It's so cute to see them ride around on the driveway together.
Well, today was Owen's first day of swimmimg lessons. He didn't so much care for it! He whined and cried the majority of the time. His teacher, Miss Ashley was very sweet to him. I HOPE tomorrow and the rest of the week go better!
The only time Owen was happy was when it was time to get out of the pool and go home!
My best friend, Shannon is having a baby! She is due October 28th! Rachael, my mom and I had a baby shower for her in Iowa while we were home.

Each of the guests that attended the shower decorated a burp rag for Shannon. Here are about half of the ones that were decorated! They turned out great!!
Two separate days while we were in Iowa, Owen decided to put "makeup" on. The first time, he used a dry erase marker to draw on a mustache. The second time, he actually used mascara on his eyebrow! What a turkey!
Once in awhile the boys will do this pouty face and cross their arms. Owen started it first. I asked him where he saw it and named a little girl from his preschool class. I spoke to another mom who has a son in the class and she said her son did the same thing. I guess they could be learning something worse! :)
