Nicolette Kids

I couldn't think of a more exciting title! :) It was the perfect day to be outside. We spent the morning with the Nicolettes playing. They have beautiful bushes in their front yard, so of course I had to take the kids pictures!

Park Cleanup and May Day Baskets

The MOMS Club has "adopted" Pebble Pocket Park in Peachtree City. We meet once a month and pick up all the trash. Usually it's not too bad and even the kids get into it! After we cleaned the park, the kids made May Day baskets. I remember making them as a child and delivering them to neighbors. The kids enjoyed making the baskets and sneaking the leftover candy while the moms weren't looking! Here they are decorating the soon-to-be baskets.



Owen filled his basket and ended up giving it to his little buddy Jack. It's suppose to be a surprise, but Jack found it on his front porch before we left their house. :)

The Learning Center

I volunteered in the Learning Center at Owen's school the other day. Brady was able to come with me and "help". Teachers send a few kids at a time to play. There are quite a few things for the kids to do and they seemed to enjoy it. Of course, Brady found a toy to ride on. That's what Brady does best!

Brady liked playing with the puppets and peeking out from behind the curtain.

Happy Earth Day

The MOMS Club got together today to celebrate Earth Day. Each of the kids brought old, broken crayons. We broke them into small pieces and made new crayons out of them. The kids enjoyed it. The crayons are great, perfect for their little hands!

Dragons

Owen is all of a sudden obsessed with dragons. I'm not really sure where he learned about them. Because of the "How to Train Your Dragon" movie, there are dragons everywhere right now. The boys actually needed new bath towels, so of course we had to get the dragon ones. They look so cute all bundled up.

Popsicles

I think the boys favorite part of Spring and Summer are eating popsicles.

Picture Day

Today, Owen had his class picture at school. I took a picture of him before he went to school. Hopefully they did the picture before snack and recess. :) At least I have documentation of what he looked like when I sent him.

Brady is still loving that little car he got for his birthday in January.

Happy Birthday, William

We had another birthday party to go to this morning! It was Owen and Brady's friend William who turned 4 today. We know so many kids with birthdays in the next two months! :) The kids had a blast, as usual. Cupcakes, lunch, bubbles and playing at the park. What kid doesn't enjoy that?

Spring is Here!

I love that all the trees are green again. These are the trees in our backyard...so pretty!

Happy Birthday, Dante!!

We went to a birthday party at the Choo Choo Train Park (otherwise known as Senoia Park) this morning. The kids just love it when a train goes by. They rush over to the street to watch it!

Dante's Mom, Sue made the crayon pinata...so cute! If you can't tell from the picture it is a green crayon with "Dante" written where the work Crayola normally is.

The kids decorated the tins, then used them to collect the goodies from the pinata.

Painting

It was a beautiful day, so when we got back from Noah's Ark the boys played outside for a few hours. They "painted" the driveway and the house (with water).

I gave Brady a few crackers, which I thought he ate. I noticed that he had put them in the stroller and was pushing them around, along with Owen's belt! Such a silly boy!

Noah's Ark

We went to Noah's Ark Animal Rehabilitation Center today. In the same town there is an outlet center that we decided to stop at. Seriously, what were we thinking...3 mommas and 6 kids under 4. Not smart! We only went to a few stores, but that wore us out! :) We then went to Noah's Ark and only saw probably half of the animals, then left. Brady was asleep within 5 minutes and Owen talked my ear off the whole way home! We'll have to go back another time without the pit stop to the mall.

Happy Easter

The boys had fun having their Easter Egg Hunt on Sunday morning. We got back from vacation on Saturday night, so we didn't have time to make hard boiled eggs or color them. My mom and I filled plastic eggs with jelly beans and gummies. My dad and Eric hid them! :)

I guess Brady was over having his picture taken.

Owen's To Do List

My mom and I both posted this on Facebook, but I had to share it here too. My mom asked Owen what he wanted to do in Florida. Here is what he said....
1. Bring popcorn
2. Swim
3. Find seashells
4. Play with Momo and Papa
5. Go to a baseball game
6. Build a sandcastle
7. Play, play, play, play
8. Bring a suitcase
9. Eat chicken nuggets from Old McDonalds- E-I-E-I-O
10. Bring Brady

Pollen

On Sunday, Eric got a carwash. This is what is car looked like 24 hours later. The pollen is so bad here right now.

It was 90 degrees, so the boys and I washed it for him. They are such great little helpers.

Las Olas

We stayed at a resort called Las Olas. It's on Satellite Beach in Florida. It's a pretty small resort with only about 40 rooms. It was really nice and I would recommend it to anyone! We definitely hope to go back again.

Brady liked dancing around!

For some reason the boys kept doing this little "trick" on the beach. It made their head fulls of sand. They had fun, though! :)

More Beach

Like I said earlier, Owen was a little scared of the water. He was ok on the first day. The water was really cold, so I'm thinking he didn't want to get wet. :) I have a lot of pictures of him running away from the water.
