Brunch with Santa

We went with some friends to a Brunch with Santa. Owen, in the past, hasn't liked sitting on Santa's lap. As you can tell in the picture he was a little bit shy, but told him a few things he wanted. Brady got right up on Santa's lap and told him he was a pillow pet.

My friend Amanda took this picture outside of the clubhouse. If only Owen was looking up... It's hard now to get a nice family picture, I can only imagine what it's going to be like in a few months! Good thing I now have Photoshop! ;) Now I just need to figure out how to use the impossible program.

Christmas Parade

We went to the Christmas Parade in Senoia a few weekends ago...when the weather was still nice. Last year we froze. This year it was so nice. I think when we left the parade it was still in the 60's. I absolutely love Brady's Miss America wave! He was waving to all the people on the floats. They all thought he was cute, which I have to agree. :)

MOMS Club Christmas Party

We attended the MOMS Club Christmas Party on Saturday night. It was at nice little restaurant in Senoia called Founder's. It's so rare for Eric and I to get a nice picture together!

New Beds

Exciting news...the boys are now sharing a room! We decided to make Owen's old bedroom into a playroom. It's been much easier (as far as cleaning up goes) having all the toys in one room. When it's messy I just shut the door. :) The boys are still adjusting. Night time is fine....Nap time is another story. We're still working on that. They were/are very excited to get big boy beds, as you can tell!

GO HAWKS!

Wow, I've been really bad about updating our blog. I have some major catching up to do! My parents gave the boys matching Iowa sweatshirts. I managed to get them to wear them on the same day. I'm not sure why Brady has his mouth wide open.....turkey!

My Little Indian

Brady and I went to Owen's Thanksgiving Feast. The classes took turns sharing a song or a poem. The kids all looked so cute in the "costumes" they made at school.
There were table cloths on the floor. This is Owen's class. They made the the decorations and the placemats, which were really cute!

Partner's Pizza

Our MOMS Club went on a tour of a local pizza place. The guy leading the tour was awesome with the kids. As you can tell he held their attention while he made jokes and threw pizza dough way up to the ceiling. It actually got stuck one of the times. The kids thought that was hilarious! They didn't use that dough to make the pizza. :) Each of the kids made a personal pepperoni pizza. We toured the kitchen and were able to see all the pizza ingredients, the freezer, and how they make the dough. The kids really seemed to enjoy themselves.

Trick or Treat...golf cart style

We went trick or treating with the Nicolette's. We took the golf cart and we went to houses of people they knew. We had a great time and the weather was perfect.

Zac Brown

The picture above is one that my friend Megan took. The guy to the right of the pole is Zac Brown. I'm sure most of you know who he is, and if you don't I would bet you have heard his songs on the radio. He is a BIG country star. About a month ago I was bringing Owen in to school and this man (didn't know it was him for sure) held the door open for the boys and I. I thought to myself, "Wow, that has to be Zac Brown." After a little bit of investigating I confirmed it was him. He brings his daughter in to school everyday. It is so strange to see him knowing he is such a big country singer. I've never seen anyone stop and talk to him, just simple hellos. :)
This blog entry was going to be about Owen's Halloween events at school, and I ended up writing more about Zac Brown. I think I'll start another entry just for Owen's Halloween events!

Block Party

Our neighborhood had a block party last Saturday. I took a whole whopping 2 pictures...both of Brady riding on the 4 wheeler. We wouldn't let him ride it at first, but he got on and quickly figured out how it worked. Thankfully, the battery started running low, so it was moving pretty slow. I love his little Miss America wave he does! :)

Halloween Buckets

McDonalds happy meals are so cute right now. The meal comes in a bucket with blank potato heads on the side. Stickers come in the bucket, so the child can decorate it. The boys had fun doing this one night after dinner.

Painting

As a party favor the boys received a Mickey Mouse paint set. The boys enjoyed painting so much! I found some big coloring pages and let them use all their paint up! :) They were a mess when they were finished, but it was bath night! I'm sure they'll be asking to paint in the near future!

Water Drops

These pictures are kind of random, but I was telling my dad about it, so I thought I would post them on our blog. At my last photography class we did an experiment with trying to capture a picture of water dripping into a pan. The pan was silver, but we played with the different settings on our cameras! It was fun and neat to see the differences, but I'm not really sure what the point of the experiment was. :)

Halloween Costumes

I was going to take the boys to Starr's Mill to take pictures of them in their Halloween costumes, but both entrances were blocked for some reason. So we headed back to Senoia to take a few pictures! I'm actually really pleased with how they turned out. I REALLY wish they would have had different clothes on! You'll probably be seeing these same backgrounds really soon...just with different outfits! :)

Uncle Bob's

The MOMS Club went to Uncle Bob's Farm last week! It was perfect weather and a great way to spend the morning. The picture below is of my friend Amanda's little boy! His name is Cole. Isn't he the cutest baby ever?! :)

I don't know if you can tell from the picture, but Brady is showing me his pumpkin stamp.

All the kids sat and watched a man create a piece of pottery. I couldn't believe they all sat down and watched him.

Cupcakes

A girl in my photography class has a blog and I found a recipe for boston creme cupcakes on it! They looked so good and sounded really easy to make. We went to a friend's house on my birthday, so I decided to make them! Yummy...and so easy!

Haunted House Decorating

The boys and I decorated a gingerbread haunted house. We had a great time! It was NOT a pretty sight though! The frosting was way too runny and the boys were way more interested in sneaking licks than actually decorating. Towards the end I gave in and let them lick and eat away! :)

I let Brady do this AFTER we were all done decorating! :)
