Backyardigans

Brady is really in to the Backyardigans right now, so I decided to make him cupcakes for his birthday. Plus, my mom and dad gave me a cupcake stand for Christmas, so I wanted to use that! I thought they turned out super cute! Brady wanted to know where his cake was. he he

New Paint

I wrote about the boys sharing a room. We have been wanting and needing to paint. Eric was going to the store to get paint for the baby room, so he decided to pick out the colors for the boys room. They are bold...very bold! I actually LOVE it though!!!

Crobby

My parents brought Elf on a Shelf for the boys. My mom read the book to the boys and if you aren't familiar with the book you get to name your elf. Well, the boys decided to name it Crobby. I have NO IDEA where they came up with that name. But, that's the name they picked, so that's the name of our Elf. I'm not sure having Crobby around really helped the boys behavior that week. Maybe next year...wishful thinking I know!! The boys have already talked about Crobby coming back next year to visit! :)

Stone Mountain

I won tickets to Stone Mountain at MOPS. I'm not really sure how to describe what Stone Mountain is, so I'll just tell you what we did! :) The first thing we did was go to a 4D showing of Polar Express. It was a shortened version of the movie, maybe only 20 minutes long, which is perfect for Brady. It was the part when the train gets off the track and they are sliding around on the ice. It was neat because water would splash in our face at certain points. Our seats shook and fog appeared. The boys seemed to like it.
We took a cable car ride up to the top of the mountain and walked around for a few minutes!

It was so cold the day we were there and almost everything is outdoors. We did go into a barn to play. There were soft balls that the kids could collect and put into the shooters. Once the boys caught on they were unstoppable. I think they would have stayed in there all day if we would have let them.

There is also a lighted parade that we didn't stay for. It was just too cold for that. We left right before that was going to start and it looked like it would have been really neat.

Christmas Program

Wow, I can't believe how much of a slacker I've been. It's been so long since I've updated our blog! I will say, we've been really busy with Christmas and the arrival of baby number three. Below are a few pictures of Owen after his Christmas program. The kids were so precious in their angel costumes. I love kids programs. Kids do the funniest things!!!
