Patriotic Day

Tuesday was Patriotic Day at Owen's preschool. Each class made different hats to wear for a parade. Owen's class also had adorable flag t-shirts that they made and wore that day. They kids paraded around the school and then had a sing-along.

It was my friend Olivia's birthday, so we met her out for breakfast after the sing-along. While we were chatting outside the restaurant Brady climbed into the middle of a tree!

Bird Feeders

February is National Feed the Birds month (or something like that). :) The MOMS Club got together and made bird feeders out of milk cartons. The boys decorated them with stickers and hung them up today. They were happy to help add the seeds to their feeders, and of course, Brady had to test out the seeds himself! :)

Fire Station

The MOMS Club had a tour of the fire station in Peachtree City. At first, the boys didn't want to get too close to the fire truck. The trucks are so much bigger when you are standing right next to them. :) I'm not sure if all fire stations have all the different types of vehicles, but the one we went to had a regular fire trucks, a golf cart with a siren, a boat, an antique fire truck and a type of ambulance, but it was geared for water emergencies. It was very interesting and the boys stated loosening up towards the end.

Valentines Party

I was one of the room moms for Owen's Valentine's Party at school. My "job" was to bring treats for the kids. I have been looking for any excuse to use my new decorating tips, so I decided to make cookies and decorate them. They aren't fancy, just really fun to make! :)
Owen's teachers are great and allow Brady, and even encourage him to sit by Owen during the parties. Owen is really cute and walks around to his classmates and tells the kids "This is my brother."

The little blond boy in the middle of the picture is Judd. Owen and Judd are such cutie little buddies. They are always so excited to see each other outside of school.

Big Boy Bed

A few days ago, I put the boys down for a nap and came downstairs. A couple minutes later I heard the boys running around in the hall. Brady had climbed out of his crib and gone into Owen's room. We decided to change Brady's bed into a toddler bed. He cried a lot the first night, but slept fine. Last night he went down well, cried only a little bit, but woke up at 5.

I'm not sure what Owen was doing, but he took his pillow and blankets and laid on the floor in the bathroom. Little turkey! :) Her certainly thought he was funny.
