My Little Dare Devil

Brady got the little ride-on toy for his birthday. The boys absolutely love it and play on it all day. There is always one boy on it. Brady decided to put it up on the fireplace and scoot forwards and backwards. I let him do it long enough to take a picture, then put and end to it! Talk about dangerous!!

He even stopped to pose for me! What a little stinker.

All Children's Playground

We've had a few very nice days lately, so we've taken full advantage of them by going to the park in the afternoon.

Just Like Big Brother

Owen is still potty training and doing really well. Brady likes to sit on the potty as well. He's not even close to being ready to start with the whole potty training, but once in awhile I let him try...to humor him!

Fun With the Nicolette's

We went over to the Nicolette's house for dinner. We laughed when we saw that Jack had a Georgia Tech sweatshirt on. The boys wore their matching Iowa sweatshirts. If you aren't big football fans, we were laughing because Iowa played Georgia Tech in the Orange Bowl. Iowa Won! :) The Nicolette's aren't GT fans, someone gave them the sweatshirt when they moved to Georgia!

Magic Bullet

My parents gave me a Magic Bullet for Christmas. It's been fun making smoothies and shakes for the boys. My brother and I tried making salsa a few times while they were visiting. We haven't mastered that recipe yet! :) Anyways, I made an Oreo shake for the boys one night and Brady made a complete mess...as you can see!

Superman

On our way back to Georgia we stopped in Metropolis, Illinois. Metropolis is Superman's hometown, if you weren't aware of that! :) I thought the boys would be so excited to see Superman. Umm, not so much. I couldn't even get them to stand by him long enough to take a picture.

Nap Time

Both of the boys fell asleep on the couch while we were at my mom and dad's house. :)

SNOW!!

Sorry, I'm slow at updating our blog lately. I'm still catching up with pictures from when we were back in Iowa. We played outside in the snow with the boys one day. Owen had a great time, Brady, not so much. Although, in the picture below he looks to be enjoying himself. Believe me, he whined the entire time we were outside! :) I enjoy the nice, warm weather in Georgia, but I do miss seeing snow!

Potty Training

We started potty training with Owen yesterday and so far, it's going really well....knock on wood it continues! I have been putting off potty training because of all our trips to Iowa and Colorado. We don't have anything planned for a few months, so I figured it was time. I love the way he looks in his big boy underwear. So darn cute!

Stockings

The boys opened their stockings on Christmas Eve morning. I actually forgot the bag of goodies for their stockings in GA, so my mom and I scrounged the house to find things to put in them. Won't get the "mom of the year" award for that! he he The boys didn't seem to mind! Aren't the matching jammies cute? They are a gift from Megan!

New Camera

I have been wanting a nicer camera for awhile now. Eric and the boys got me one for Christmas, which was a total shock. Well, I guess it wasn't a totally surprise, because as I was opening it, Owen said "It's a camera". :) It takes such wonderful, clear pictures. I love it! Hopefully, I will be taking a class on how to use it very soon, because right I am completely overwhelmed with figuring everything out! :) The first opportunity I had to use it was when the boys were taking their bath the next morning.
