Boys

Today, the boys were outside in our FRONT yard playing with the neighbor kids. I went to check on them and found this.... Seriously, they were running around with underwear on their heads! I'm hoping this was clean underwear, but honestly I didn't want to know, so I didn't ask! :) I wonder what our neighbors think!!!?? I probably don't want to know!!

Tongue

Carson's new trick is to blow bubbles and stick out his tongue. He does it ALL the time! I thought this was such a cute picture!

Date Night

While we were in Florida Eric and I went out on a date! We so rarely have the chance to do that. We went to Buffalo Wild Wings and an outlet mall. How romantic, huh?! We went to Buffalo Wild Wings all the time when we lived in Iowa, but there aren't any near us in Georgia.

Alligator Show

The resort we're staying at has all kinds of activites for families to do. We went to an alligator show this morning. After the "show" was over you could hold the alligator and take some pictures. I didn't even offer it to the boys because I thought they would be too scared, and honestly it made me a little nervous. :) Brady asked if he could hold it though, so we let him. He went right up and sat on Rob's lap and held the alligator. Owen didn't ask to hold it until after we were on our way back to the house. Carson just sat there looking cute during the show!

I put Carson in his little gym (the colored object in the background). I was getting ready for the gym and walked by and had to do a double take. He rolled all the way from his little gym into the kitchen! It doesn't look like it, but it was quite a long way to roll! He's growing up way too fast! :(

4th of July

Happy 4th of July! We had SUCH a busy weekend. So. Much. Fun! We went to a cookout on Saturday night, a block party on Sunday night and the parade this morning. We have the nicest neighbors. Our houses are pretty far apart, so we don't get to talk to them very often. :(
Peachtree City has to be the most patriotic town I've ever seen. The parade is such a big deal. You are allowed to mark your parade viewing spot the day before the parade. How funny is that? Someone from the mom's group went at 9:30 yesterday morning to mark our spot, which was great! We were in the shade! Woo hoo. It was still hot though! It's fun to see all the decorated golf carts.
It's almost impossible to get a nice family picture! I have to say I was a little annoyed with Owen that he kept covering his face. Ok, I was a lot annoyed! Ugh, I just want a nice family picture! Guess we'll keep trying! :)

Can you believe that Carson actually fell asleep during the parade. It was loud.

Aren't their shirts cute? The mom's group got together this week and made them! So cute, and so easy to make!

5 Months Old

Carson is 5 months old already! The time is just flying by!!! He had a doctors appointment today. He weighs 15 lbs. and is in the 28th percentile. He is in the 48th percentile for height. He was so happy when the doctor was doing her exam, then they brought in the needles! :( It never gets easier watching your kids get shots. He was ok after the first one, but by the fourth one he was ticked! Poor baby! The doctor gave me the ok to give him cereal. The boys are so excited for Carson to use their highchair and to help me out. They are the best big brothers. Brady was playing peek a boo with Carson today and Carson (and Brady) were cracking up.
